Job Summary

Atlanta Weight Loss and HRT is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Medical Director to lead our clinical team and oversee all medical operations. The Medical Director will play a pivotal role in shaping our weight loss and HRT programs, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence. This leadership position requires a visionary medical professional with extensive experience in weight management, hormone therapy, and team management within a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

• Program Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve weight loss and HRT programs based on the latest medical research and industry best practices.

• Clinical Oversight: Supervise and support medical staff, including physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care.

• Patient Care: Oversee the diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of patients, ensuring personalized and effective care strategies.

• Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain clinical protocols, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistent and excellent patient outcomes.

• Innovation: Stay abreast of advancements in weight loss and hormone replacement therapies, integrating new techniques and treatments into practice.

Regulatory Compliance

• Licensure Management: Ensure all medical licenses and certifications are current and comply with Georgia state regulations.

• Policy Development: Create and enforce policies that adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant healthcare regulations.

• Audit and Reporting: Conduct regular audits of clinical practices and maintain accurate records for compliance and accreditation purposes.

Team Management

Qualifications

Education and Certification

• Medical Degree: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of Georgia.

• Board Certification: Board-certified in a relevant specialty (e.g., Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, Bariatric Medicine) preferred.

• DEA Registration: Current DEA registration.

Experience

• Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in weight management, endocrinology, or hormone replacement therapy.

• Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role within a clinical setting.

• Program Development: Demonstrated success in developing and managing clinical programs, preferably in weight loss or HRT.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and best practices in Georgia.
