Overview:
Atlanta Weight Loss and HRT is a premier online provider of weight loss and hormone replacement therapy services. We are seeking a licensed and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our telehealth team. The APP will play a crucial role in providing patient-centered care, including conducting consultations, reviewing medical histories, and managing GLP-1 weight loss programs and hormone replacement therapies. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial and follow-up consultations for patients seeking weight loss and hormone replacement therapies via telehealth platforms.

Assess patient medical histories, perform virtual physical examinations, and order necessary labs or diagnostic tests.

Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans for GLP-1 therapy and HRT based on individual patient needs.

Educate patients on the benefits, risks, and proper administration of prescribed treatments.

Review lab results, provide diagnoses, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

Communicate with patients regarding ongoing treatment, side effects, and any necessary adjustments.

Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMRs) for all patient interactions.

Stay current with clinical guidelines, best practices, and continuing education in the fields of weight management and hormone therapy.
Required Qualifications:

Advanced Practice Provider certification: Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS).

Active state licensure as an APP with prescriptive authority, allowing for the prescription of GLP-1 medications and hormone therapies.

National certification: Board certification as an NP, PA, or CNS from a recognized accrediting body (e.g., ANCC, AANP, NCCPA).

DEA registration for the prescription of controlled substances (if applicable).

BLS/ACLS certification.

Malpractice insurance or willingness to obtain coverage.

Telehealth experience preferred but not required.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly telemedicine platforms.
Education and Experience:

Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP or PA program.

Clinical experience in weight management, hormone replacement therapy, endocrinology, or primary care (preferred 2+ years).

Knowledge of GLP-1 treatments and HRT protocols (experience preferred).
